Web developers assemble! Modern web development has evolved into a web of dependency and abstraction. Before a single page is built, you've installed hundreds of NPM packages, configured your favourite bundler/build tools and committed yourself to a reactive JavaScript framework. And this is only the tip of the iceberg. We accept this because we're influenced by business and community, this is "how it's done". What if we could challenge the status quo? What if we take pause and reevaluate what the native web can do? Over the years browsers and web view components have matured and become feature rich, allowing us to build compelling web applications with less frameworks and less abstraction.
