Structuring content so it's findable and usable

When people use content-heavy sites such as developer docs they are doing more than just ‘finding’ information. They may be looking for something they know about, or exploring something brand new; getting an overview of a topic or diving deep. They want to get to where they need with little friction, so they can continue what they were actually doing. In this presentation, learn about some of the core concepts that help you to structure content. We'll cover: - information-seeking behaviours - how things that look good are easier to use - the value of hierarchy - grouping methods that work and don't This will be helpful whether you are writing 10 pages or a thousand. You'll leave with practical take-aways that you can use on your very next content task.
