Cursed Things to do with Lambda Functions

When the word serverless is mentioned, we often hear terms like "best practice" and "cloud-native" thrown around. Let's look at the opposite and explore what AWS Lambda technically allows you to do but requires you first to consider if you care about stability and your sanity. By understanding the weird and beautiful ways Lambda can be utilised, we'll gain mechanical sympathy for how the systems we use daily operate. Some highlights include writing your lambda function in bash, using wrapper scripts to modify runtime behaviour, and setting up a lambda proxy that's runtime and architecture independent.
