Hacking the human - why security is more than just code

๐Ÿ•“ 11:35 am - ๐Ÿ“ Side Room 1
We spend a lot of time thinking about how to make our code secure, but what about the people who use our systems? In this session we'll look at social engineering and how attackers can bypass even the most secure systems by targeting the people who use them. We'll look at common social engineering techniques and how you can help protect your users and your organisation from these types of attacks.

It's such a privilege to be able to run this conference and DDD Perth would love to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land in which DDD is created, presented, and shared, the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their Elders past, present and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
